Everything You Need to Know About Creating a Custom Engagement Ring | Philadelphia Jeweler Sells Custom Engagement Rings

At L. Priori Jewelry we specialize in creating custom engagement rings! Creating a custom ring is so special, and we strive to make the experience and process as simple and pleasant as possible. Finding the right engagement ring or considering creating a custom ring can be overwhelming, so we are breaking down the process for you step by step!

Step One: Initial design process-selecting your stone and setting

You can book your first appointment using our online scheduling tool, or by emailing hello@lpriorijewelry.com! When booking your appointment it is super important to include budget and inspiration photos. Your sales consultant wants to be as prepared as possible for your appointment! During your first appointment your sales consultant will show you diamond or gemstones based on the budget you provided. They will go through the 4 c's with you and walk you through the process. If you decide on a stone from the first group your sales consultant provides...great! If not, no worries they will bring in more for you to see as soon as you can come back in.

After you decide on a stone, your sales consultant will go though design options with you, and design right in front of you! You can make tweaks during the appointment, and once you decide on a design our CAD designer will make renderings of your design.

Step 2: Optional Wax Review

Once you decide on a design, you have a couple of options before sending the ring into production. You can either request to see final renderings of the ring from our CAD designer, or if you would like to see a more real life version of the ring you can choose to have a wax review made.

We will send the CAD file to our in office 3D printer, which will print a wax mold of your ring. From there you can either schedule a time to come in and review the wax or we can ship it to you. The wax will be the exact scale of your ring, so you will get a very good idea of what the finished ring will look like!

Step 3: Production

Your ring will be cast using the best casting houses in America, and then set using the best of the best in Philadelphia. You will receive email updates along the way!

Step 4: Appraisal
